Medical laboratory science combines the use of sophisticated instruments and techniques with the application of theoretical knowledge to perform complex procedures on tissue specimens, blood samples and other body fluids. The tests and procedures that Medical Laboratory Technologists perform provide critical information enabling physicians to diagnose, treat and monitor a patient's condition.
The objective of the course is teaching and train students in carrying out modern and advanced laboratory investigations accurately. Students are also taught the method of giving laboratory reports to Doctors, a vital input in the medical care of the patients. Practical training is given in to acquaint with hi tech equipments of our hospital.

2. Diploma in Radio Imaging Technology (DRIT) |
The DIRT course provides training in high tech medical diagnostic equipment, radio and imaging technology. The course provides a clinical environment in order to complete the theory and practical courses. All techniques related to radio images will be offered in our state of the art facilities. Students will gain hands on experience and become familiar with the radio/imaging equipment.
The aim of this course is to teach and train students in radiological and imaging techniques, C.T scan etc, including the use of the most advanced imaging machines. The course is conducted under the department of Radiology and imaging of our hospitals.

O.T. Technicians are also known as scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians. Their major role is to provide assistance in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons.
O.T. Technicians act as backbone of the operation theatre & in their presence all surgeons feel comfortable during short or long surgical procedure.
The aim of this course is to teach and train students in handling a variety of electric and electronic equipments used in modern operation theatres and to keep it in good working order and to assist the Anaesthesialogists. Mainly the course train students to assist in the very advanced techniques of Anaesthesia and Surgery.

Optometry is a primary health care profession, specifically licensed in all around the world, which encompasses the prevention & remediation of disorder of the vision system through examination, diagnosis, treatment, management of the visual efficiency, eye health as well as the recognition & diagnosis of related systemic manifestation of all of which are designed to preserve & enhance the quality of our lives & environment, Optometry is the 1st line of defence against blindness.
The Diploma in Optometry (D.Opt) makes the student qualified in testing vision and dispensing optics as a corrective measure. The students are also trained rigorously in worskshop activities for preparing corrective optics. The optometry technician will also be able to correct some of the visual problems through administering exercises and also suggesting the use of appropriate equipment.
